Chaussée d'Antin and Rue La Fayette. The new fashion shop was expanded to include the whole building entire building at Number 1 Rue La Fayette in 1896.
In 1905, Les Galeries Lafayette was expanded still more, so that it also included the buildings at Number 38, 40 and 42 Boulevard Haussmann as well as Number 15 Rue de la Chaussée d'Antin.
Georges Chedanne and a student of his, Ferdinand Chanut, designed the building at Boulevard Haussmann. In 1912, art nouveau staircases and a dome made of glass and steel were added.
