Le Forum de Halles, an underground shopping mall, is the largest shopping venue in Paris. It has hundreds of shops, a world class cinema, and many excellent food outlets.

Le Forum de Halles was once Paris' central market. The large wholesale market that was once located there was demolished in 1971 and relocated to Rungis. It was replaced with an underground shopping center.

Although it is underground, Le Forum de Halles is open to the air, like a pit.

The metro station Châtelet-Les Halles lies beneath the shopping mall.

Le Forum des Halles in Paris is open from Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 AM until 7:30 PM.
